Welcome to the Summer of 2024!
Lots of Steam Trains to see this summer, I'm going to keep this quick but wanted to point out some highlights.
MAINLINE STEAM - We've got 2 Mainline Steam Locomotives in action this summer - the Union Pacific Big Boy is heading West to California and then back to Wyoming meanwhile the Canadian Pacific Empress has just made her way to Mexico and will be returning to Canada with several whistle stops along the way.

THEME PARK STEAM - Always a great time to catch steam locomotives in action at Theme Parks across the country. Knott's Berry Farm in California just celebrated the return of Rio Grande Southern #41 after a complete rebuild at the shops in Durango. www.knotts.com/
NARROW GAUGE STEAM - The White Pass & Yukon which operates out of Skagway, Alaska on one of the most beautiful railways in the world is bringing back STEAM for 2024! This is the first time steam has pulled public trips on the White Pass since prior to the Covid shutdowns. Steam Trains will be operating on Fridays and Sundays this summer. wpyr.com/
