Six Flags and Texas Railroad | Arlington, Texas
The Six Flags & Texas Railroad at Six Flags over Texas in Arlington, TX is a 36" gauge railway featuring historic steam locomotives. It is the only original, opening-day attraction remaining in the park, which debuted in 1961.
The railroad makes a 1-mile loop around the park, stopping at Texas Depot and Boomtown Depot.
Two steam locomotives operate at the park. Both were originally built for the Enterprise Sugar Plantation in Louisiana and later rebuilt by Six Flags to a 2-4-2 wheel configuration. #1 was originally an 0-4-4T, and #2 was originally an 0-4-0T. The Enterprise Sugar Plantation still owns the locomotives, they are on lease to Six Flags over Texas.

- #1 – Built by ALCO – Dickson in 1901, this is the only operational steam locomotive from the Dickson Manufacturing Company.
