Just updated the 2019 Mainline Steam Calendar with two more events -
Milwaukee Road #261 will be operating two excursions from Minneapolis Minnesota in June. The #261 is one of my favorite steam locomotives to see in operation and ride behind and the Friends of the #261 have a fantastic fleet of rolling stock including the "Super Dome" and "Cedar Rapids" Lounge cars. Nickel Plate #765 has announced they will be returning to the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad for their annual "Steam in the Valley" event which will feature #765 pulling trains on 2-hour roundtrip excursions from the depots in Akron Ohio and Independence Ohio. The event will take place on the last 2 weekends of September, but tickets are not yet on sale and details are still to be announced.
