The Georgetown Loop is a 36" narrow gauge railway that operates over 3 miles of rebuilt trackage that once belonged to the Colorado and Southern Railway.

With steep grades that give the Shay Steam Locomotive a workout, the always impressive high bridge of the Loop itself, Rocky Mountain Scenery, and the mining history of the area, the Georgetown Loop Railroad should be on every Train Chasers list when visiting Colorado.
