The Winter Season is in full swing at Railroad Museums across the country. A few to take note of -
On the MAINLINE STEAM Page you will see that Daylight #4449 is powering the Annual Holiday Express in Portland Oregon; Milwaukee Road #261 operates from Union Station in St. Paul, Minnesota; and special gift from Santa (actually the FRA in giving an extension) - Santa Fe #3751 will be making one final 2017 appearance under steam at the Los Angeles Union Station in California.
In the STEAM BY STATE page you will see two newly restored steam locomotives making their debut on Holiday Trains in 2017:
New Hope & Ivyland in New Hope, Pennsylvania's Baldwin 2-8-0 #40.
Wilmington and Western in Wilmington, Delaware's Balwin 0-6-0 #58.
I've also tried to make special note of Tourist Railways and Museums that are operating Steam for the Holiday Season.
In TRAVELING STEAM you can see that 0-4-0 #6 is operating in Hamburg NY on special Santa Claus Express Trains.
