One of my favorite mainline steam locomotive, Santa Fe #3751, has announced tentative plans for two fall excursions. Both excursions are historic Santa Fe routes. September 10, 2016 - Los Angeles - Barstow CA via Cajon Pass. October 1, 2016- Los Angeles - San Diego CA via the Pacific Coast. Santa Fe #3751 is a 4-8-4 type, oil burning, standard gauge steam locomotive built by Baldwin in 1927. More information, including links for ticket information, available on our MAINLINE STEAM page. (I will continue to update this page as new info is announced). And as always, a huge shout-out to the San Bernardino Railroad Historical Society, who maintains and operates the #3751. Check them out and support them! www.SBRHS.org |
